INFORMATION ABOUT THE INTERNATIONAL CERTIFICATE OF COMPETENCE (ICC) & CEVNI
Need your power boating license? Then train with us on our comfortable power boat in the sun! We offer you a complete training and assessment course, with calm and patient instructors, for only €410 p/person.
The RYA International Certificate of Competence (ICC) is an internationally recognised certificate for power boating (for vessels up to 10 metres). Power boat licenses are a legal requirement for anyone intending to skipper a boat in Spain.
Are you based in Alicante, El Campello, Altea, Moriara, Javea, or Denia? We're aware that there are not currently RYA Power Boat Level 2 courses being run in your area. But don't worry, we can come to you! Please contact us for more information.
Some countries require visiting yachtsman to hold an ICC. If you are planning to sail or cruise within Europe, or the Mediterranean, the RYA recommends for skippers to possess a valid ICC.
Available to British passport holders only, the ICC training and assessment can be carried out on the school power boat or a students.
For those new to power boating, we suggest taking the two day ICC course, covering everything needed for the certificate including the assessment itself.
Otherwise those with previous experience, and who are confident in their abilities, can take the ICC assessment straight away*
We can also provide a one day refresher for those wishing to brush up on their skills before the ICC assessment.
Please note that the ICC assessment is included within the Day Skipper practical course, and the Power Boat Level 2 course.
